This year's Mystery KAL captures the spirit of crazy quilting, and translates it to yarn and sock knitting. Boredom is not an option with this toe-up design, that is being presented in a series of Seven Weekly Clues that will keep you entertained and maybe even teach you a new trick or two! Sock-aholic® II is dyed by hand at our brewery using a super soft and smooth 4-ply Luxury Sock Yarn made from 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon. Each skein contains approximately 470 yards, and knits at a gauge of 7-9 stitches per inch using size 1-2 needles. This yarn maintains beautiful stitch definition when used for pattern stitches, is strong enough to support lace work, and its softness makes it a pleasure to handle and wear.
Sock-aholic® Old No.8 is dyed by hand at our brewery using a wonderfully soft 8-ply Luxury Sock Yarn made from 90% Superwash Merino and 10% Nylon. Each 100g skein contains approximately 410 yards, and knits at a gauge of 7-9 stitches per inch using size 1-2 needles. This yarn has a smooth and refined appearance, and will help you create elegant fingering weight projects.
Sock-aholic® Sparkz is dyed by hand at our brewery using a wonderfully soft and Sparkly! 3-ply Luxury Sock Yarn made from 63% Superwash Merino, 20% Silk, 15% Nylon, and 2% Polyester Glitz. Each 100g skein contains approximately 420 yards, and knits at a gauge of 7-9 stitches per inch using size 1-2 needles. This yarn is soft yet durable, has great stitch definition, and is perfect for your most special projects and occasions!
Washing Instructions for all Sock Yarns: Hand washing in cool water is recommended to prolong the life of any hand-knit or hand-crocheted item. This yarn may also be gently machine washed in cool water. Roll in a towel to remove excess water (do not twist or wring), and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight.
