Description: Crazy Quilts, all the rage in the late 1800s, were characterized by visually interesting details in random piecework, varieties of angles, diverse stitch patterns, and happy directional confusion.
This year's Mystery KAL captures the spirit of crazy quilting, and translates it to yarn and sock knitting. Boredom is not an option with this toe-up design, that is being presented in a series of Seven Weekly Clues that will keep you entertained and maybe even teach you a new trick or two! The pattern contains instructions in text and charts, and, as always, there will be video support to help you with techniques that might be new to you. The pattern is written for three sizes:
Sock-aholic® II is dyed by hand at our brewery using a super soft and smooth 4-ply Luxury Sock Yarn made from 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon. Each skein contains approximately 470 yards, and knits at a gauge of 7-9 stitches per inch using size 1-2 needles. This yarn maintains beautiful stitch definition when used for pattern stitches, is strong enough to support lace work, and its softness makes it a pleasure to handle and wear.

Each 100g skein contains approximately 410 yards, and knits at a gauge of 7-9 stitches per inch using size 1-2 needles. This yarn has a smooth and refined appearance, and will help you create elegant fingering weight projects.

Each 100g skein contains approximately 420 yards, and knits at a gauge of 7-9 stitches per inch using size 1-2 needles. This yarn is soft yet durable, has great stitch definition, and is perfect for your most special projects and occasions!
Washing Instructions for all Sock Yarns: Hand washing in cool water is recommended to prolong the life of any hand-knit or hand-crocheted item. This yarn may also be gently machine washed in cool water. Roll in a towel to remove excess water (do not twist or wring), and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight.
